Fashion and Interior Design… and a little more :)

For all you CRAAAAZY shoe people! November 5, 2012

So I’m (sort of) back! Crazy school week for the last couple weeks, and then the storm just made everything crazier… Hope everyone weathered Sandy well!

Anyway, I was just doing random shoe browsing, and just decided to do a post on a few pairs of shoes that I saw and was like “OMG, I love these!”… So I started saving pictures, and then 2 or 3 pictures into it, I was like… “they’re all red…..”Β  So now it’s a post about crazy red shoes! So, here’s to all of you fashion risk takers who love crazy shoes like these, even if you can’t afford them (or wouldn’t necessarily wear them :P)

Pour La Victoire Women’s Larkin Loafer Pump – $120-$275

AGHHHHHH!!!!! A penny loafer on stilts! Best thing ever! Love this modern spin on a classic shoe! The patent leather and the color give it a modern vibe that makes everyone who thinks of penny loafers as outdated think again… Pair this shoe with a pair of beige highwaisted pinstripe or plaid trousers, classic white shirt and camel colored fitted blazer, and you have a look that is both classic, modern, and fun.

Qupid Over-the-Knee boot – $40

So is it just me or is this boot crazy tall? Either way, I like it! The slouchy suede gives it a casual look while still being somewhat high taste! Pair it with a metallic gunmetal and gold bodycon skirt or minidress and an edgy updo and you have either a party look or a high-class weekend chill look.

STEVEN by Steve Madden Women’s Ariall Pump – $150-$170

All I could think when I saw this was “It looks like Christmas in a shoe!” Really though, you could wear it with a LOT! Personally, I think this would be the cutest bridesmaid shoe EVER for a retro-poppish feel wedding… Bride is wearing a knee or tea-length white dress and the bridesmaids are all in short black and white polka-dot skater dresses? And the guys in black suits, white shirts, and black and white polka-dot ties? Recipe for adorable. But again, you can definitely wear it for a lot more than just bridesmaid-ing πŸ˜›

Boutique 9 Women’s Lidia Platform Pump – $150

Oh goodness! What’s a girl to do when she’s in love with with the color red, gemstones, and 10″ heels? Other than either buy this shoe or spend hours just staring at it and wishing money grew on trees…. xD
Super fun shoe though! Geared to a younger crowd, this shoe is the ultimate party shoe, and would look great with a short white dress, preferably with matching or similar gemstone trim… Or for a different look, pair with a loose red blouse andΒ  girly tiered knee-length skirt. either way, this shoe is pretty darned awesome πŸ˜›

Qupid Puffin-39 Lace Platform Ankle Bootie CORAL – $40

Ok…. so if I had to pick a favorite shoe from this post, it would be this one, hands down. I LOVE the washed out colors, funky lace design, chunky heel and fun laces…. Just an adorable shoe! I’ve only just recently started getting into booties (I’ve always been a boot purist, haha), but I was completely sold on this one! Pair it with a washed out army green colored cropped denim or corduroy jacket (preferably with gold studding), a pair of khaki cutoff shorts and black sheer tights, and you have a rocker-gone-boho look! So cute! Or, kind of similar to the last shoe, keep the studded jacket, but pair it with a white tiered eyelet dress that just skims the knee and some skin-colored tights… You just can’t go wrong!

Qupid Neutral-334 Fringe Bootie RED – $38.50

Get your FUNK on girls! My one style choice for this is a pair of Nordic print black leggings, lightweight bloused button down shirt, a splash of red lipstick and a lot of mascara! And you could throw a black velvet blazer in there somewhere πŸ˜›

Qupid TATUM-47 Platform High Heel Stiletto Sexy Lace Detail Party Pump – $39

Probably one of the most versatile party shoes in this post…. Pair with black, white, cream, and of course, red dresses of almost any length or shape… And for brides with a fun rocker type personality, I would totally wear this under my wedding dress xD (and yes, that’s random, but what else is a blog for?)

Anyways, forgive my rambling, but I really hope you’ve enjoyed this post, and hopefully I’ll have time to do some more very soon! Until then… happy Halloween and happy fashion!
